Firstsource Solutions inks pact with Microsoft

On Monday (September 16), business process management (BPM) services provider Firstsource Solutions Ltd announced a strategic relationship with Microsoft to provide sophisticated digital transformation services to clients worldwide.

The cooperation will use Microsoft Azure OpenAI Service to boost innovation and efficiency across numerous industries, according to the business.

In this new initiative, Firstsource will use Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Search, and Azure AI-Language to provide generative AI-powered solutions and business platforms that unlock the full potential of enterprise data, Firstsource Solutions stated in a regulatory filing.

These technologies will provide a multi-modal, multi-channel search experience, considerably increasing business effectiveness and customisation, according to the company.

This initiative comes after the launch of Firstsource relAI, an AI-focused digital transformation suite of platforms, solutions, and capabilities, demonstrating Firstsource’s dedication to driving deep-tech changes.

Sangita Singh, General Manager, ITES at Microsoft India and South Asia, stated that by combining Microsoft Azure AI with Firstsource’s AI-powered products, businesses can leverage generative AI to improve data accessibility and productivity. This collaboration will promote innovation and provide more effective, tailored experiences, ultimately increasing employee happiness.

At around 12.47 PM, Firstsource Solutions was trading 0.99% higher at ₹310.75, against the previous close of ₹307.70 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of ₹318.50, and ₹309.35, respectively.
