A JBM Auto subsidiary, JBM Ecolife Mobility, declared on Tuesday that it has secured an order for ₹7,500 crore for 1,390 electric buses.
Convergence Energy Services Limited (CESL) was given the contract for the PM-eBus Sewa Scheme bus procurement, supply, operation, and maintenance. Under the programme, the firm will also be in charge of developing allied civil and electric infrastructure under gross cost contracting (GCC).
The next 12 to 18 months are required for the order to be carried out.
As of 1:15 pm on Tuesday, the company’s shares was up 6.19%, or ₹1,990.10, on the BSE thanks to the fresh order.
