Maruti Suzuki India Limited registered a 7% surge in its total sales for April. The company logged sales of 1,79,791 units. The company’s sales in the previous comparable period stood at 1,68,089 units, announced Maruti Suzuki in its filing with the bourses.
The auto business’ total domestic passenger vehicle sales jumped slightly to 1,38,704 units versus 1,37,952 units in April 2024.
The company’s sales of mini segment cars including Alto and S-Presso slid to 6,332 units as compared to 11,519 units in the previous corresponding period.
In the previous period, the auto business reported that compact car sales, including Celerio, Dzire, Baleno, Swift, Ignis, and WagonR stood at 56,593 units. However, in the current period it came higher at 61,591 units.
Additionally, sales of utility vehicles such as Ertiga, Brezza, Grand Vitara, and XL6 registered sales of 59,022 units as compared to 56,553 units in the same month of previous year, said the company in its filing with the exchanges.
Van Eeco registered sales of 11,438 units in April 2025 against 12,060 units in April 2024. Light commercial vehicle Super Carry sales stood at 3,349 units as compared to 2,496 units.
The company’s exports stood at 27,911 units last month, as against 22,160 units in the comparable period.
