Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd secures several key contracts

Madhya Pradesh PoorvKshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Ltd, Jabalpur, and the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd have both placed many orders with Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd.

A request has been made to RVNL for the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of 11 KV line related works, including LT AB cabling augmentation, LT bare conductor conversion to AB cabling in Jabalpur city, 11 KV line bifurcation, 11 KV line interconnection, and 11 KV line conductor augmentation. The contract has a 24 month duration and a value of more than ₹251 Crore.

Two letters of award for the development of distribution infrastructure at the South and North zones of Himachal Pradesh under the revised reforms-based and results-linked distribution sector scheme have been received by RVNL from the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Ltd.

The projects are estimated to have a total cost of ₹410 Crore and ₹888 Crore, respectively.
