Ramco Systems inks pact with Hanjin Information

Ramco Systems Ltd, an enterprise aviation software provider, announced on Thursday (December 5) that it had formed a company with Hanjin Information Systems & Telecommunication Co, Ltd (HIST), a leading ICT services firm and affiliate of the Hanjin Group in Korea.

This collaboration combines Ramco’s next-generation aircraft maintenance software with HIST’s aviation-specific IT consulting skills. Ramco Systems stated in a regulatory filing that both parties will work together to digitally change the M&E and MRO operations of aviation organizations located in Korea.

The collaboration’s goal is to advance digital transformation in aviation maintenance and engineering (M&E) and Korean aviation organizations’ maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations.

This collaboration brings together Ramco’s next-generation Aviation 6.0 software and HIST’s IT consulting skills to help Korean aviation industries streamline procedures, optimize supply chains, and improve engine maintenance efficiency. The agreement includes the first-ever use of Ramco Aviation Software 6.0 by Korean Air, South Korea’s national flag carrier.

The organization will pioneer new IT innovations by integrating Ramco Systems’ MRO solution knowledge with Hanjin Information Systems & Telecommunications’ technology strengths in aviation and logistics. Both organizations will benefit from this collaboration in terms of future growth potential.
