Tata Motors FY25 global tax outgo stands at ₹38,892 Crore

Tata Motors said that it has paid ₹38,892 Crore in tax and other contributions across the globe in 2024-25. This reflects a 1% decline against ₹39,344 Crore against FY24. The business disclosed that direct contributions, including, corporate income tax, cess, and surcharge was reported at ₹25,766 Crore. In the last fiscal, the contributions stood at ₹29,199 Crore.

Indirect Contributions, including withholding taxes collected from employee/payroll taxes were reported at ₹12,189 Crore in FY25. This reflects a 31% against ₹9,284 Crore in the previous fiscal year.

Other contributions, including provisions for Provident Fund and Employee Pension Scheme, came in at ₹937 Crore last fiscal. In the financial year 2023-24, it was reported at ₹861 Crore.

The company said that its consolidated net profit for the quarter ended March 2025 stood at ₹28,149 Crore. In the previous corresponding period, the business posted a net profit of ₹31,807 Crore. 

In the financial year ended March 2025, the business logged a revenue of ₹4,39,695 Crore versus ₹4,34,016 Crore in the previous comparable quarter.
