Wipro, Kognitos to offer Generative AI based business automation solutions

Wipro, a leading technology services and consulting firm, and Kognitos Inc., a leader in Generative Al Automation and a Wipro Ventures portfolio company, today announced a partnership to deliver enterprise-ready GenAI-based Business Automation Solutions. In addition, Wipro Ventures, Wipro’s corporate investment arm, invested in Kognitos during the company’s Series A capital round.

Wipro’s Digital Operations and Platforms business will use Kognitos’ platform to increase productivity in massive transformation projects. The platform will automate complicated business process workflows for Wipro’s customers in applications such as order management, contact centre, and finance and accounting services. Wipro’s Financial Shared Services team will use the platform to manage a variety of operations, including Collection Accounting and sophisticated reconciliation.

Jasjit Singh Kang, Senior Vice President and Business Head of Digital Operations & Platforms at Wipro Limited, expressed enthusiasm about the growing significance of generative AI in business process automation. He stated that they are eager about this involvement. The Kognitos platform utilizes secure, enterprise-grade AI and will empower them to assist their clients in rethinking their business processes, leading to significant operational improvements on a large scale.

Kognitos enables end users to automate corporate operations with simple human language, making English the new “code.” Its Natural Language Processing capabilities make deployment easier, allow for a broader range of use cases, and shift exception handling to the business user, lowering the strain on IT.

Binny Gill, Chief Executive Officer of Kognitos, emphasized the increasing necessity for large enterprises to not only implement AI but also to enable their employees to effectively manage it.
