According to a Monday ANI report, oil marketing companies have lowered the price of 5 kg FTL (Free Trade LPG) and 19 kg commercial cylinders.
The 19-kg commercial cylinder has been found to have decreased by ₹30.50, with a new price of 1764.50 in Delhi as of April 1, according to reports.
Moreover, a 5 kg FTL cylinder now costs ₹7.50 less than before.
Oil marketing businesses said on March 1st, 2018, that the cost of commercial liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) cylinders would be going up. This modification took place amid differing fuel costs and the state of the market.
According to the ANI report, as of February 1, the price of Indane petrol cylinders varied depending on the major city, including Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai, each with its pricing.
By the beginning of March, the cost of Indane LPG petrol cylinders had significantly increased, impacting all major cities equally.
Although the precise causes of the price decreases have not been disclosed, it is likely that a variety of factors, such as fluctuations in the price of oil globally, modifications to tax laws, and the equilibrium between supply and demand, contribute to these price fluctuations.
These consecutive price hikes demonstrate the energy industry’s erratic behaviour and how it affects businesses and individual families that rely on commercial LPG cylinders.
