In early trading, gold and silver prices rise

The price of gold (24-carat) increased by Rs440 per 10gramsgrammes in early trade on Wednesday. It is currently selling for Rs52,310. On Wednesday, silver’s price per kilogram increased by Rs1,600, reaching Rs59,000.

The price of ten grams of 22-carat gold on Wednesday has increased by Rs400 to Rs47,950. The price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold in Mumbai and Kolkata was Rs52,310, while the price of 10 grams of 22-carat gold was Rs47,950. On Wednesday, the price per 10 gm of 24- and 22-carat yellow gold in Delhi was respectively Rs52,470 and Rs48,100.

Gold in Chennai is now selling for Rs53,450 for 24 carats and Rs49,000 for 22 carats. One kilogram of silver costs Rs59,000 in Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata. In contrast, one kilogram of silver is now selling for Rs64,500 in Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad on Wednesday.
