Hy-Tech Engineers IPO Listing vs Grey Market Expectations

Although Hy-Tech Engineers delivered a strong 41.51% listing gain on the NSE, the debut was below expectations indicated by the grey market before listing.

The grey market had pointed towards a potential premium of more than 66% over the ₹53 issue price. Based on those expectations, the stock could have listed at a significantly higher level.

The actual NSE debut at ₹75 therefore represented a more moderate gain compared with the unofficial grey-market indications.
