Shaadi.com intends to bring its IPO in the next one year

People Group, which runs Shaadi.com, intends to bring its initial public offering (IPO) in the upcoming fiscal year. The online matchmaking site is also considering introducing more verticals in the upcoming weeks, it was noted.

Additionally, the business intends to provide Shaadi Live as a new platform vertical. It will bring a platform where potential matches can virtually meet and communicate on a platform chosen by the internal team at Shaadi.com.

According to its creator, Mumbai-based People Group started turning a profit a few years ago. The business also has offices in Delhi, Indore, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Dubai, New York, and London in addition to Mumbai.

Anupam Mittal established the business in 1996 to enhance the prospects for meeting prospective life partners. But in 2001, he founded People Group.
