Adani Green Energy’s operating capacity certified as zero-waste-to-landfill

Adani Green Energy announced that its entire operating capacity is now zero-waste-to-landfill certified. 

Intertek, which provides innovative and customised assurance, testing, inspection, and certification solutions, conducted this assessment. Intertek stated that a rigorous audit procedure was performed on the data/information until FY22.

This certification validates that AGEL has a fully functional waste management system in place for all of its operational sites, according to the company.

AGEL has successfully achieved a 99.9% landfill diversion rate, stated the reports.

AGEL has one of the largest renewable portfolios in the world, with 20.4 GW of locked-in growth across operational, under construction, awarded, and acquired assets catering to investment grade counterparties.
