Balaji Amines commences production of DMC at MIDC, Solapur

Balaji Amines Limited informed that it has received the Environmental Clearance & MPCB permission in the form of Consent to Operate.

The company said that the commercial production of DMC/PC and PG has commenced at the company’s newly set up plant in MIDC, Chincholi, Solapur with effect from September 26, 2022.

With this, the company’s annual capacity will be 15,000 MTPA each for Di-methyl Carbonate (DMC) /Propylene Carbonate (PC) and Propylene Glycol (PG).

Balaji Amines informed that this announcement is in furtherance of its intimation dated September 14, 2022, titled ‘Balaji Amines completes Phase 1 of Greenfield Project (Unit IV) and announces further CAPEX for adding new capacities in Phase 2 of Greenfield Project (Unit IV)’.

Balaji Amines was trading at Rs3,449 apiece, down by 2.72% from its previous closing of Rs3,545.50 on the BSE. The scrip touched intraday high and low of Rs3,544.85 and Rs3,384.55 respectively.
