Baroda BNP Paribas Mutual Fund is launching NFO under its “equity category”, named as Baroda BNP Paribas Small Cap Fund. This open-ended fund intends to provide is to provide long-term capital appreciation / income by investing in small cap companies whose market capitalization is less than Rs 5,000 crores.
Investment strategy: The scheme will follow a bottom-up approach to pick stocks across the sectors based on the quality of the business model and quality of management. The fund manager will look at both value and growth stocks in picking out individual companies.
Asset allocation: It will be an equity scheme with investment in equity and equity related instruments of small cap companies.

Investors with very high risk appetite and want to invest for 7 to 10 years to diversify their portfolio in small cap companies should invest in Baroda BNP Paribas Small Cap Fund.

The NFO is available for subscription from October 6 to October 20. The schemes will reopen for continuous sale and repurchase within five Business Days from the date of allotment. The fund offers systematic investment solutions like SIP and SWP to create a flexible investment plan. The minimum subscription amount is Rs 5000/- and in multiples of any amount thereafter.
