Bessemer India Capital Holdings II sold a 7.75% stake in Home First Finance Company India for more than Rs 467 crore in an open market transaction on Thursday.
The company’s 11.93 lakh equity shares were purchased by Fidelity Funds—Asian Smaller Companies Pool and Nomura Trust and Banking Co.
Bessemer India Capital Holdings II is a subsidiary of Bessemer Venture Partners, a venture capital firm based in the United States.
According to the National Stock Exchange’s bulk deal data, Bessemer India Capital Holdings II sold a total of 68,11,313 shares, representing a 7.75% stake in the company.
The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 686.07 per share, for a total transaction value of Rs467.30 crore. According to stock exchanges shareholding data, Bessemer owned a 7.75% stake in the company as of the December quarter.
At around 11.50 AM, Home First Finance was trading at Rs680.85, marginally higher than the previous close of Rs680.25 on NSE. The counter touched an intraday high and low of Rs686.80 and Rs666.85 respectively.
