Airtel has introduced its advanced 5G services in the Union Territory of Ladakh.
Airtel will offer its 5G Plus services to customers gradually as it builds and expands its network. Customers who own 5G-enabled devices can access Airtel’s high-speed 5G Plus network without any additional cost until the network is fully established. Airtel plans to enhance its network and make its services available across all cities in the Union Territory in due time.
According to Adarsh Verma, Bharti Airtel’s COO for Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh, the launch of 5G services in Ladakh demonstrates the company’s commitment to connecting people in remote areas and closing the digital divide.
He added. “tourists and residents alike will now have access to ultrafast networks, which are 20-30 times faster than current 4G speeds. The company plans to expand its network throughout the entire Union Territory, enabling customers to enjoy high-definition video streaming, gaming, instant messaging, and fast photo uploads.”
Airtel also said that it has eliminated data usage capping across all its existing plans, allowing customers to use its ultrafast, secure, and dependable 5G Plus services without worrying about data exhaustion.
