Crude Fails To Hold Onto Modest Rally

8 Jul 2022 , 03:24 PM

WTI Crude oil futures slipped today after recording good gains in last session. The counter moved up after testing a multi month low under $100 per barrel as the sentiments were supported by firm equities. The US stocks surged sharply on Thursday, extending recent gains, as investors indulged in heavy buying in major index linked counters. However, the WTI Crude oil futures eased today as European shares saw subdued moves ahead of the weekend. The counter currently trades at $102.11 per barrel, down 0.60% on the day. MCX Crude oil futures are trading at Rs 8131 per barrel, down 1% on the day after a test of Rs 8060 per barrel in intraday moves. Powered by Commodity Insights
