Customers can now remit their GST through Karur Vysya Bank

Customers of Karur Vysya Bank can now remit their GST payments through the Bank. KVB has been authorized as one of the Banks that can accept GST remittances.

GST payments can be made through the Internet Banking facility of KVB as well as over the counter modes, the Bank said in a filing.

KVB is already an authorized bank for collection of taxes. The Bank is already authorized to receive customs duty payments online through ICEGATE.

B Ramesh Babu, MD & CEO of the Bank said “Enabling payment of GST through KVB fulfils a long standing requirement of our customers. This will help the bank to further its acquisition drive for current accounts and strengthen the CASA balances.”

At around 9:18 AM, Karur Vysya Bank Ltd was currently trading at Rs64.55 per share up by Rs0.8 or 1.25% from its previous closing of Rs63.75 per share on the BSE.
