18 Aug 2022 , 10:18 AM

Daikin India, a maker of air conditioning equipment, announced on Wednesday that it will invest Rs500 crore over the next three years to establish its third R&D centre in the nation in Neemrama in Rajasthan.

According to a statement from the corporation, the center would cover 24,000 square meters and employ more than 250 engineers who will work on the research and development of products specifically for India.

In addition, 22 new testing facilities and labs will be housed in the facility, which will improve the company’s production competitiveness for goods sold in export markets, it was said.

The company claimed the new R&D centre will begin operations in 2023.

The other two R&D facilities for Diakin India are in Hyderabad and Neemrana. Next to the company’s Neemrana production facility will be the third one.
