DCB Bank opens new branch in Amravati, Maharashtra

DCB Bank Ltd. announced the opening of its first branch in Amravati, Maharashtra’s Vidarbha region, marking a significant milestone for the new-generation private-sector bank.

The branch in Dastur Nagar, Amravati, will help DCB Bank achieve its goal of expanding its branch network across the state and reaching out to a greater number of MSMEs, small businesses, and traders.

Pavneet Kaur (IAS), District Collector, Amravati, and Avinash Bargal (IPS), Superintendent of Police, Amravati, inaugurated the branch (Rural). Senior DCB Bank officials, including Mr. Anand Kalkonde, Regional Head, Agri & Inclusive Banking, DCB Bank Ltd, and bank employees, also graced the event with their presence.

The branch will provide a wide range of retail banking services to DCB Bank customers in Amravati, including lockers of various sizes, Savings Bank accounts with attractive interest rates ranging from Rs10 lakh to Rs2 crore, Current Accounts, Fixed Deposit, and loan products for individuals, farmers, agri-businesses, and micro, small, and medium enterprises.

Mr. Narendranath Mishra, Head of Agri & Inclusive Banking, said at the inauguration, “DCB Bank’s expansion in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra will contribute to socio-economic growth and create opportunities for individuals, businesses, farmers, and entrepreneurs. The bank is pleased to provide competitive interest rates on Savings Accounts and Fixed Deposits.

Amravati is a significant city that serves as a regional hub for the government, farmers, and businesspeople. It is also a DCB Bank hub in this part of Maharashtra. The branch will strive to provide exceptional ease of banking for all of its clients, both in-branch and through digital solutions.”

At around 9.29 AM, DCB Bank was trading at Rs84.65 up by Rs0.2 or 0.24% from its previous closing of Rs84.45 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs85.50 and touched intraday high and low of Rs85.50 and Rs84.45 respectively.
