Chinas industrial production rose by 7.5% on year in January-February 2022 combined, quickening from a 4.3% gain in the prior period, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed on Tuesday. The latest figure was the fastest pace since June 2021, as the recovery in the economy gained momentum in the first two months of the year, with both manufacturing and mining output accelerating while utilities production grew further.
