Fusion Microfinance closes 12% lower on debut

After a weak listing, stock of Fusion Microfinance closed Tuesday’s session down 11.74% to Rs324.80.

According to BSE data, the IPO was subscribed 2.95 times, with qualified institutional investors buying 8.59 times the allotted quota, non-institutional investors 1.38 times and retail investors 0.51 times. The response was much lower than had been expected.

The company provides financial services to women entrepreneurs belonging to the economically and socially deprived section of the society. As of June 30, 2022, the company had total AUM of Rs 7,389.23 crore.
