Indian Benchmark Indices may open positive on September 27 following the global markets. The GIFT Nifty was also trading higher a while ago in the morning trading at 26,360.
On September 26, the indices climbed fresh high with Sensex closing at 85,836.12, 666.25 points up while Nifty closed at 26,216, 211.80 points higher led by buying across sectors.
Asian stocks continued to climb as risk sentiment improved, driven by China’s latest stimulus measures and fresh record highs in U.S. benchmarks.
The S&P 500 finished up 23.11 points, or 0.40%, at 5,745.37, after hitting an intraday high of 5,767.37. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 260.36 points, or 0.62%, to close at 42,175.11, while the Nasdaq Composite rose 108.09 points, or 0.60%, to 18,190.29.
The FIIs bought equities worth ₹629.96 crore and DIIs bought equities of ₹2504 crore on September 26, 2024.
