Information Technology shares gain

Among the components of the S&P BSE IT Sector index, Affle India Ltd (up 3.34%), NIIT Ltd (up 2.89%),Persistent Systems Ltd (up 2.84%),Birlasoft Ltd (up 2.83%),Brightcom Group Ltd (up 2.74%), were the top gainers. Among the other gainers were Accelya Solutions India Ltd (up 2.6%), Subex Ltd (up 2.57%), Mindtree Ltd (up 2.55%), Firstsource Solutions Ltd (up 2.46%), and Tech Mahindra Ltd (up 2.41%). On the other hand, Xelpmoc Design and Tech Ltd (down 2.67%), Newgen Software Technologies Ltd (down 1.88%), and Cigniti Technologies Ltd (down 1.08%) moved lower.At 09:46 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was up 578.54 or 0.98% at 59395.83.The Nifty 50 index was up 157 points or 0.9% at 17691.75.The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was up 162.17 points or 0.59% at 27817.44.The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was up 76.61 points or 0.88% at 8741.39.On BSE,1807 shares were trading in green, 816 were trading in red and 121 were unchanged.Powered by Capital Market – Live News
