Invesco on Monday sold all 5.11% of its shares in Zed Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. in an open market transaction for Rs. 1,004 crore. Among the purchasers of the shares were Goldman Sachs Singapore Pte ODI, Morgan Stanley Asia Singapore Pte, and Segantii India Mauritius.
The shares of Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. (ZEEL) were sold by the American investment company Invesco through its subsidiary, OFI Global China Fund LLC.
OFI Global China Fund sold more than 4.91 crore shares, or 5.11% of the company, according to bulk trade data made available by the BSE.
The transaction value increased to Rs1,004.34 crore when the shares were sold at an average price of Rs204.50 per share.
OFI Global China Fund owned more than 4.91 billion shares, or 5.11% of the Mumbai-based media and entertainment conglomerate, as of the March quarter.
On the BSE, Zee Entertainment shares ended the day 2.11% lower at Rs203.80 per share.
