IRCTC collaborates with Zomato for delivery of pre-ordered meals

Through its E-Catering section, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has collaborated with Zomato to provide a larger range of culinary alternatives for rail travellers.

IRCTC has begun a Proof of Concept (PoC) at five key railway stations as part of this collaboration: New Delhi, Kanpur, Prayagraj, Lucknow, and Varanasi. Passengers may easily book and get pre-ordered meals through the IRCTC E-Catering site with the help of Zomato under this PoC.

This is to inform that in view of expanding the range of options available to rail passengers for ordering food of their choice under IRCTC’s E-catering segment, IRCTC has teamed up with M/s. Zomato Limited for delivery and supply of meals ordered in advance through IRCTC’s E-catering portal as a Proof of Concept (PoC) in the first phase at five Railway stations.
