ITC forays into dairy products business in Jharkhand

ITC Limited, a diversified city-based conglomerate, announced Monday its foray into the dairy market in Jharkhand with the launch of several products under its ‘Aashirvaad Svasti’ brand.

According to a corporate release, the company would offer a variety of dairy products to the state’s consumers, including milk, curd, paneer, lassi, and ‘mishti doi’ (sweet curd).

ITC’s chief operating officer (dairy and beverages), Sanjay Singal, stated that the business expanded its milk-based products to Jharkhand after building a strong brand presence in Bihar and West Bengal.

‘The dairy products offered by the company are innovative and differentiated, and have become a recognized brand in these two states within a brief time frame of five years,’ he said in the statement.

The Aashirvaad Svasti dairy products would be accessible at 2,000 general and modern trade outlets throughout Jharkhand, according to the company.
