Jackett, an edtech firm, secures $1 million in investment from Forge Ventures

The $1 million seed round of funding for the edtech startup Jackett was headed by Forge Ventures, Entrepreneur First, and Epic Angels Network. Siu Rui Quek, the co-founder of Carousell, and Projjal Ghatak, the CEO of OnLoop, were among the angel investors who took part.

Launched earlier this year, Jackett offers teachers an operating system with AI and machine learning capabilities for automating time-consuming processes like creating, grading, and customizing tests.

According to the business, teachers in India have used its services to develop over 50,000 evaluation questions for students, saving them an estimated 7,000 hours in the process.
