Kalyani Rafael Advanced Systems Secures Rs 287.51 Crore Defence Ministry Order

Kalyani Rafael Advanced Systems Pvt Ltd, a joint venture between Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd (a wholly-owned defence subsidiary of Bharat Forge Ltd) and Israel’s Rafael Advanced Systems Ltd, has emerged as the recipient of a significant order from the defence ministry.

The order, valued at Rs 287.51 crore, has been awarded to Kalyani Rafael Advanced Systems for the supply of missile systems.

In a regulatory filing, Bharat Forge revealed that the order is slated to be executed over the next 12 months. The order value of Rs 287.51 crore includes applicable taxes.

The establishment of Kalyani Strategic Systems Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge, was undertaken to serve as a key entity driving the group’s strategic defence business initiatives.
