Kia India sells more than 24000 units in June

On Friday, Kia India reported its highest-ever monthly sales at 24,024 units in June, representing a 60% increase over the same month last year. In June 2021, the carmaker delivered 15,015 cars to dealers.

The automaker claimed that it dispatched 1,21,808 units in the domestic market during the first half of 2022, surpassing the milestone of one lakh sales. With 8,388 and 7,895 units, respectively, Seltos and Carens continued to be the top contributors to Kia’s overall sales in June.

“The enormous love we are receiving from the people of India is the result of the firm foundation of Kia in the country, supported by thorough research and customer-centricity,” Sonet and Carnival contributed 7,455 and 285 units, respectively.

Hardeep Singh Brar, vice president and head of sales and marketing for Kia India, said in a statement that “despite the global supply chain restrictions, we are still managing to achieve objectives in record time.” The company is well aware of the lengthening wait times for its model range, and it is making the necessary adjustments to production to speed up delivery to customers.
