Larsen & Toubro informed that its Power Transmission & Distribution Business received new orders in India and abroad.
The company has received two orders in the Middle East for upgrading electrical networks in large industrial facilities. These orders call for the construction of Gas Insulated Substations and High Voltage Cable Systems. Other critical components that will be installed as part of the work include power transformers and control and protection systems.
To meet the stringent safety, quality, and schedule requirements of these complex projects, proven engineering and project management capabilities are required. These orders reflect the customer’s trust in L&T and are secured on the back of demonstrated abilities to manage interface and shutdown-related challenges.
An order for constructing a 765kV Transmission Line has been received in India. The Transmission Line will allow Renewable Energy to be evacuated from the Wind and Solar Energy hub built around Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh.
At around 12.17 PM, Larsen & Toubro was trading marginally lower at Rs 2,384.95 per piece, against the previous close of Rs 2,389.55 on NSE. The counter hit an intraday high and low of Rs 2,403.85 and Rs 2,375, respectively.
