Mahindra & Mahindra sells 6% stake in CIE Auto

On Monday, Mahindra & Mahindra sold roughly 6% of its ownership in Mahindra CIE Automotive through block agreements. According to BSE block deals data, the automaker sold 2.30 crore shares of Mahindra CIE for 357.39 each. 

Society Generale purchased 64.53 lakh shares for 230 crores, with the remaining purchasers remaining anonymous. By the end of the year 2022, M&M owned 9.25% of the stock in Mahindra CIE.
