Mahindra recently introduced five new electric SUVs based on the new INGLO electric architecture. You will also see a new electric SUV in the coming weeks, in addition to the new SUVs the business previewed during the special Independence Day event. On September 6, the Indian carmaker intends to introduce the new Mahindra XUV400 electrified SUV.
The Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV was rumored to be based on the Mahindra XUV300, but more recent leaks indicate that the future EV will be longer than four meters and will be based on the eXUV300 concept that was displayed at Auto Expo 2021. There are plans to fully remodel the front fascia of the Mahindra XUV400, including new headlights with built-in DRLs and a closed-off front grille. The rear and taillamps of the electric SUV are also rumored to be reprofiled.
The Mahindra XUV400 is rumored to include a single front-wheel-drive electric engine that produces about 150 horsepower. There will likely be two battery pack choices available for the automobile. The Mahindra XUV400 electric SUV is anticipated to have a plethora of inside features found in the XUV700, including the Adreno X infotainment system, ADAS, and others.
When it is released, the Tata Nexon EV, which has long dominated the segment, will face off against the Mahindra XUV400 eSUV.
