Morgan Stanley buys 9.4 lakh ACC shares

Morgan Stanley Asia on Friday bought 9.4 lakh shares of cement company ACC Ltd for about Rs215 crore in an open market transaction.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) has bulk trade data that shows Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte bought 9,41,557 shares of the company.
The average price paid for the shares was Rs2,290, making the total transaction amount Rs215.61 crore.
On the NSE, ACC shares finished 0.43 percent lower at Rs2,286.50.
Separately, Societe Generale purchases shares of multiplex cinema exhibition business PVR Ltd through an open market deal for Rs60 crore.
According to information available with the exchange, Societe Generale ODI purchased 3,23,158 shares at an average price of Rs1,861.42 per share, bringing the transaction value to Rs60.15 crore.
PVR Ltd. shares ended the day on the NSE at Rs1,854, down 0.5%.
