The e-mobility business Motovolt Mobility Pvt. Ltd. has announced that it has raised Rs 16 crore in pre-series A funding, which was headed by Wami Capital, a single-family office with its headquarters in Dubai.
Additional investors included PPAP Automotive, Vikrampati Singhania of JK Family, Ankur Agarwal of Crystal Crop, Vikas Bagaria, founder of the D2C startup Pee Safe, and other family offices. The money raised will be utilised to expand Motovolt’s presence across India by opening more retail locations, launching new products, and launching marketing campaigns.
