The National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) has accepted IDBI Bank’s plea for insolvency proceedings against Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited (ZEEL). ZEEL has not received any notice regarding this matter, and IDBI Bank has requested an additional week to submit further documents.
The next hearing for this case is scheduled for August 31. In May 2023, the National Company Law Tribunal’s (NCLT) Mumbai bench had rejected IDBI Bank’s plea, citing that it was barred under Section 10A of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC).
