Neuland Laboratories appoints Abhijit Majumdar as new CFO

Neuland Laboratories informed in an exchange filing that the board of directors approved the appointment of Abhijit Majumdar, as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP) of the company.

The said appointment is made based on the recommendation of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee and the Company’s Audit Committee.

Abhijit Majumdar is a Cost Accountant and Chartered Accountant. He has over 30 years of experience working for companies such as Asian Paints PPG, Berger Paints, and Tata Steel, among others. His most recent position was as EVP – Financial Planning and Controlling at Deepak Fertilizers and Petrochemicals.

Finance, Accounting, Working Capital Management, Indirect & Direct Taxation, and Mergers and Acquisitions are among his areas of expertise.

At around 9.57 AM, Neuland Laboratories was trading at Rs1,787.40 per piece, up by 0.04% from its previous closing of Rs1,786.75 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs1,796.15 and touched intraday high and low of Rs1,816.15 and Rs1,780.95 respectively.
