NLC India Ltd (NLCIL) secures a bid to supply power to Rajasthan at Rs 2.64 per unit tariff. NLCIL, a navratna company under the coal ministry, wins the contract for 810 MW capacity. Letter of intent issued by Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited (RRVUNL).
Tender floated by RRVUNL for power procurement from solar projects in Pugal Solar Park, Bikaner.
NLC India has an existing renewable energy capacity of 1,431.06 MW with 2,110 MW in the pipeline. Plans to develop 6,031 MW of renewable energy capacity by 2030. This project expected to offset 46,628.56 tonnes of carbon emissions over its lifetime.
