NMDC Ltd Spikes 2.35%, S&P BSE Metal index Rises 1.55%

NMDC Ltd rose 2.35% today to trade at Rs 172.15. The S&P BSE Metal index is up 1.55% to quote at 23327.53. The index is up 7.31 % over last one month. Among the other constituents of the index, Jindal Steel & Power Ltd increased 2.28% and Coal India Ltd added 2.09% on the day. The S&P BSE Metal index went up 46.9 % over last one year compared to the 19.16% surge in benchmark SENSEX.

NMDC Ltd has added 13.82% over last one month compared to 7.31% gain in S&P BSE Metal index and 1.26% drop in the SENSEX. On the BSE, 30964 shares were traded in the counter so far compared with average daily volumes of 6.96 lakh shares in the past one month. The stock hit a record high of Rs 213.15 on 12 May 2021. The stock hit a 52-week low of Rs 127.8 on 20 Dec 2021.
