NTPC starts commercial operation at newly commissioned 42.5MW capacity

NTPC Limited declared commercial operation of the third part capacity of 42.50 MW out of 100 MW Ramagundam Floating Solar Project on Thursday.

In line with the Corporate Disclosure requirements, the company said consequent upon successful commissioning, third part capacity of 42.5 MW of 100 MW Ramagundam Floating Solar PV Project at Ramagundam, Telangana, is declared on Commercial Operation w.e.f march 24, 2022.

“With this, standalone installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has become 54494.68 MW. Further, group installed and commercial capacity of NTPC has become 68609.68 and 67949.68 MW respectively,” company said in a filing.

At around 12.45 pm, NTPC Ltd was trading at Rs134.70 per share down by Rs0.7 or 0.52% from its previous closing of Rs135.40 per share on the BSE.
