Pradeep Udhas joins IndusInd's board as an Additional Director; stock slips ~1%

IndusInd Bank Limited’s Board of Directors has considered and approved the appointment of Pradeep Udhas as an ‘Additional Director in the category of Non-Executive – Independent Director of the Bank.

His appointment is subject to the approval of the Shareholders, through a special resolution.

Pradeep’s appointment will be effective from June 9, 2022, up to June 8, 2026 (both days inclusive).

Udhas is an American Citizen and 64 years of age, also having a residence in Mumbai.

Pradeep has completed MBA from Union College, New York, in Management Information Systems. Pradeep is currently associated with KPMG India as a Senior Advisor to Chairman and CEO.

Earlier, he was holding the position of Senior Partner at KPMG India. He has held various leadership positions including Global roles in KPMG. Further, he has incubated many new services, building upto multi-million dollar businesses.

IndusInd Bank is currently trading at Rs912 down by Rs8.65 or 0.94% from its previous closing of Rs920.65 on the BSE. The scrip opened at Rs916.50 and has touched intraday high and low of Rs916.50 and Rs907.20 respectively.
