Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL) shares traded positively following their selection as the lowest bidder (L1) for a Northeast Frontier Railway project. The project involves supplying, installing, testing, and commissioning an integrated tunnel communication system for the Sukhovi-Pherima new single line section in the Lumding Division. The project’s total cost amounts to Rs 28,73,92,870.84.
RVNL also secured a Letter of Acceptance (LOA) from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) for the design and construction of an elevated metro viaduct, costing Rs 394.89 crore, to be completed in 30 months. Additional LOAs were received for various MMRCL projects, including elevated metro stations, at-grade stations, section formation, elevated metro track supporting structures, and multi-storied buildings, with a combined cost of Rs 256.19 crore to be completed in 30 months.
On October 3, RVNL emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs 444,26,24,392 project focused on developing distribution infrastructure in the North Zone of Himachal Pradesh as part of a distribution sector scheme.
