Reliance Industries' stock up by more than 3% today

In intraday trading on Monday, shares of Reliance Industries (RIL) rallied 3% on the BSE to reach a high of Rs 2,693, surpassing the previous five-month high. According to market capitalization, the stock of the largest listed company in the nation increased in price for the third straight day, gaining 5.4% in that time. The stock was trading at its highest level since June 10, 2022; the record high was set on April 29 and stands at Rs 2,855.

After underperforming the market over the previous three and six months (up 3% and 4%, respectively), compared to 6% and 14% rises in the S&P BSE Sensex over the same period, RIL has outperformed the market over the most recent week (up 5.5%) and month (up 6.5%).
