Reliance Jio rolls out 5G in Bhopal and Indore

Reliance Industries’ telco arm, Reliance Jio announced the launch of 5G services in Indore and Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh, on Thursday.

Jio has become the state’s first and only operator to launch 5G services in these cities.

Starting today, Jio users in Indore and Bhopal will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer, which includes unlimited data at speeds of up to 1 Gbps+ at no extra cost.

By January 2023, Jio will launch its Jio True 5G services in other major cities such as Jabalpur and Gwalior. Furthermore, the release stated that by the end of December 2023, every town and taluka in Madhya Pradesh will be able to enjoy Jio True 5G services.

The launch of Jio True 5G confirms Jio’s commitment and supports technology readiness for the upcoming 17th Pravasi Bharatiya Divas and Global Investor Summit, which will be held in Indore in January 2023, according to a statement from Jio.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced the launch of 5G in these two cities on December 14. Earlier, Chouhan stated in his speech that Jio would launch 5G services in Indore and Bhopal by the end of 2022.
