The Indian Benchmark Index Sensex and Nifty trading in red on May 19, 2025. At 1:47 pm, Sensex is trading at 82,140 (-0.23%), a 190 points dip over the previous close. Nifty is trading at 24,977 (-0.18%), a 44 point dip from the last close.  In the National Stock Exchange, 1811 shares advanced and 793 stocks declined. Bharat Elec, ICICI bank are the stocks that hits a 52-week high in Nifty. In the broader market, the BSE Midcap index trades at a 0.52% gain, whereas the BSE Small cap Index trades at a 0.83% gain to the previous close.
