Sensex and Nifty Trade Flat on May 14, 2025

The Indian Benchmark Index Sensex and Nifty trade flat on May 13, 2025. At 1:26 pm, Sensex is trading at 81,290 (0.18%), a 142 points gain over the previous close. Nifty is trading at 24,64 (0.31%), a 77 point gain from the last close.  In the National Stock Exchange, 1925 shares advanced and 642 stocks declined. In Nifty 50, 33 stocks are trading in green, and 16 stocks are trading in red.

In Sensex, Tata Steel, Eternal, Tech Mahindra, Infosys are the top gainers. Top losers in Sensex include Tata motors, Asian paints, Power Grid Corp, Kotak Mahindra. 

In Nifty, Tata Steel, Hindalco, Shriram Finance, Bharat Elec are the top gainers. Top losers in Nifty include Tata Motors, Asian Paints, Cipla, Power Grid Corp. Bharat Elec is the only stock that hits a 52-week high in Nifty. In the broader market, the BSE Midcap index trades at a 0.99% gain, whereas the BSE Small cap Index trades at a 1.44% gain to the previous close.
