SML Isuzu Limited, a leading manufacturer of passenger and commercial vehicles in India, today announced that its total sales for November 2023 were 647 units, down 11% from 729 units in the same month last year.
The decline in sales was primarily due to a slowdown in the commercial vehicle segment, where sales fell by 22%. Passenger vehicle sales, on the other hand, grew by 12%, but this was not enough to offset the decline in commercial vehicle sales.
Despite the overall decline in sales, SML Isuzu remains optimistic about the long-term outlook for the Indian automotive market. The company is confident that its new product launches, including the recently launched D-Max V-Cross pickup truck, will help it to grow its market share in the coming months.
