Sudhir Chaudhary steps down as Zee Media CEO; Stock gains 2.5%

Zee Media Corporation Ltd has informed to the exchanges that Sudhir Chaudhary has resigned from the position of Chief Executive Officer (‘CEO’) of the Company with effect from the close of business hours of July 1, 2022. Consequently, he also ceases to be the Key Managerial Personnel of the Company.

The Company has initiated the process for nomination of Abhay Ojha, Chief Business Officer of the Company as a key managerial personnel in place of Sudhir Chaudhary, the company informed in a regulatory filing.

At around 9:17 AM on Tuesday, Zee Media Corporation was trading at Rs14 per share up by Rs0.34 or 2.49% from its previous closing of Rs13.66 per share on the BSE.
