Swaraj Engines climbs ~3% as board declares dividend of Rs80 per share

Swaraj Engines Limited has informed that the Board of Directors in its meeting held on April 27, 2022, has recommended and approved a dividend of Rs80 per share (800%) of Rs10 each for the financial year ended March 31, 2022.

This is the highest-ever dividend announced by the company both in terms of per share and absolute payout.

The Register of Members and Share Transfer Books of the Company will remain closed from July 02, 2022 to July 8, 2022 (both days inclusive) for the purpose of determining the Members eligible to receive the dividend, if declared by the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting (“AGM”) scheduled to be held on July 25, 2022.

Swaraj Engines’ stock was trading at Rs1,499.25, up by 3.13% against its previous close of Rs1,453.80 on BSE. It touched intraday high and low of Rs1,513.65 and Rs1,405.10 respectively so far.
