Tata Communications and Singapore Airlines Limited (SIA) have entered into a multi-year agreement, which was announced on November 7. The collaboration aims to transform airline communications and enhance employee productivity and user experience. The initiative will be delivered using Tata Communications’ GlobalRapide platform, allowing SIA users to stay connected on a global scale.
Amitabh Sarkar, Vice President & Head of Asia Pacific and Japan – Enterprise, expressed pride in the long-standing relationship between Tata Communications and Singapore Airlines. He highlighted Tata Communications’ role as a global CommTech player and its commitment to supporting SIA in creating new benchmarks in customer experiences.
Tata Communications has been working in partnership with SIA for the past five years. The collaboration includes the use of Tata Communications IZOTM SDWAN for customer call routing to SIA’s customer service centers worldwide.
Additionally, SIA’s pilot and cabin crew collaboration platforms are powered by Tata Communications’ MOVE, which enables the fast and secure exchange of critical flight and passenger data on pilot and crew tablets. This enhances on-time performance and helps control costs compared to traditional data roaming solutions.
